Paper Eater

So, yesterday, Eloise discovered paper, and it is her new favorite chew toy. (She just had her two bottom teeth come in last week. I can't believe it!) We went to dinner at Happy Sumo, and they have the brown paper over the table clothes, and Micah kept ripping chunks off for Eloise to chew on. Once it got soggy enough to become a choking hazard, he'd take it away and give her a freshly ripped off chunk. It kept her really happy throughout dinner, which was really nice. Here she is chewing on printer paper today.

And this morning she was lying in bed with us while we were still dozing, and Micah found her chewing on my copy of Les Miserables.

Sailing with Eloise

Last week we went sailing again, and this time we took Eloise. We got her a life jacket, but I was still so nervous. It ended up being really fun though, and Eloise ended up not hating it. She slept through the whole first part, and then we got out and swam for a little bit. She really hated that at first, but once she got used to it, she was pretty happy. :) Here are some pictures.

It was really fun! We definitely want to go again with Eloise before summer is really over. :)

Logan Vacation

This last weekend we went up to Micah's Mom's house in Logan. His brothers Gabe and Eli came, and so did his sister Hillary. Also, Gabe's girlfriend Robyn just came to visit from Scotland. It was really fun to spend the weekend relaxing with everyone. Here comes the flood of pictures.

We drove up to Bear Lake on Sunday. It was really beautiful, but totally flooded. There were so many trees under water, and very little beach. It was overcast, so we didn't swim very much. But it was so much fun.

We went to lunch at Cafe Sabor. While we were waiting for food, we had Eloise bang on the table with silverware. So cute.
